thesis : what is the theme of wall-e

      The Theme of Wall-E is about how people spend their time/ money on unnecessary things. And how things are only good for so long then they get thrown out. People dont value the worth of many things they buy! So the world is just going to be trashed or when humans leave earth we leave back all the things behind! We also see humanity rebuilding civilization on earth.
     The first imagery we saw was the trash towers. Towers are supposed to represent our work & it was trash tower. So basically its showing that our world has turned into trash. Like all the things we buy now wont matter later. And everything we left behind doesnt matter to us , but wall-e see's the good in all the used trash.
     The 2nd image is buy & large they owned everything ! Everybody bought everything from them they used their products to control peoples mind. They blinded people with their logos "buy NOW" so people bought everything they "needed" as soon as they seen it. They are an example of all the markets , stores, gas stations & companies we have here on earth. They took over the whole wall-e world w/ the billboards , & money!
     The last image is wall-e he was made out of trash. His eyes were old binoculars, body was like an old metal car & machine parts. Things that humans no longer needed. The people in this movie didnt drive cars anymore. they traveled out of space & a flying chair took over their bodies. They didnt walk nor thought for themselves anymore. Also all the people were all fat & unhealthy.
     I think images are an effective way to tell a strory because its more creative rather than just telling the moral or plot of the story. It expands people minds to actually think what could the author be saying/ telling us through this movie or story.
 

The Shelter Conclusion

Based on the story & the Series i feel that your freinds arent your freinds. People youve thought you knew for this long arent really who they ought to be. You see the real side of people when its do or die. & they did whaever they had to do to survive even if that meant for them to kill their "friends" or jepordize their trust w/ neighbors! In the Series the neighbors knocked down the doctor's bomb shelter door. They plotted on him and was arguing about who's family derserves to live based off of their opinions. When they found out that there wasnt any bomb comming they tried to go back to "Normal" And the Doctor stated out good points about how rude they acted just to survive!

images in minoraty report

There were images in the movie "Minoraty report" thats significant value like water. Like in the begining of the movie it shows a holligram of his family and son at the beach. Also how Anne Lively died the old man forced her to drown. And how the PreCogs lived in the water and they could see in the future. They used the water to explain alot of things in the movie. Especially when the captain took the precog out into the real world and she couldnt reallly survive w/ out water. They were at the mall and she knew it was about to rain she was pretty excited to feel the rain on her skin. It seems like water was is in the beggining of every scene but everybody see's the movie in their own perspective. To me it seems like that as if water was very important in this movie.
